To get our support you need to join us before an issue arises. Like any form of insurance, you can’t join when you have a problem and receive advice and representation through our usual service. In those circumstances we will decline to help with problems that pre-exist your membership. For example, you may anticipate that you could have a grievance or disciplinary problem in the immediate future or you may be anticipating returning from maternity leave and know you will want to negotiate a flexible working arrangement.

If you have an existing employment problem or expect a problem to arise in the near future and are not a member we may be able to offer an alternative paid service. Please ring us and we will explain the options available to you.
